Thomas Prior 1804-1866

Thomas Prior was born in Tavistock in England.  He married Catherine Stephens of St Austell on 1-1-1825. 

They had nine children born in Cornwall and arrived in Australia on 3-1-1849 where they went to Burra Mines to join their sons William and James.

Thomas purchased land at Allen's Creek north of Kapunda in 1850.
