Pro Refugees

To listen to some people, it would seem that those supporting refugees are some benighted minority in Australia.  For edification, I list the patrons of A Just Australia a campaign for just refugee programs. This list contains a amazing array of significant Australians, on both sides of politics, including Liberal Party members. It indicates just how cheaply populist the policies of Howard and Ruddock are with respect to refugees, and how far out of step they are with thinking compassionate Australians. Enough said. Visit the Just Australia website.
