There's always another way home!
I thought I might title this photo, "There's always another way home!" But sometimes, when you think you'll go a little further up the hill, and take a wider loop around to rejoin the route home, you miss the track that looked so obvious on Google Maps. Shortly after this photo, I dragged the bike up a slope that is clearly in excess of 25%. It was slippery enough that I had no desire to back-track, even though I was being directed back into the hills. I ended up in Golden Grove, and took a fast ride home down the Golden Way!
