Reuben Richardson Road
This is an old training route from 2011. It adds 10 -12km on the way into the city and includes some decent climbs up to Golden Grove. It then has lots of fast rises on the down hill into the Linear Park, and then the city. Just under 41 kilometres, all backstreets and bike paths, it's a great ride for just a bit more than the basic commute.
From Elizabeth I go through the Old Spot Hotel carpark to Coonmurra Drive, and up to Golden Grove, (instead of the short grunt up Target Hill.) I then skirt around the very edge of suburbia on Reuben Richardson Road and Settlers Hill Road to reach Golden Grove Road.
